I have recently learned about replacing your cooking ingredients with coconut oil and coconut milk. They are really easy to find in any grocery store. I found them both in the baking section at HEB, the coconut milk was 2 for $4 (which is cheaper than cows milk), and a large container of coconut oil was around $5. But they will both last you a while. Coconut milk is the most nutritious and a delicious substitute for cows milk. It really compliments fruits, this morning I made a delicious smoothie, using coconut milk in place of sugar (which can be really high in sugar), adding berries, protein powder, and a tablespoon of honey.
