Stuffed onion

Ingredients: feeds 3-4 
- yellow onion 
- 1 lb ground beef 
- 1 tsp garlic seasoning 
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire 
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (low sodium) 
- 1 egg 
- cheese (optional) 
- 1/4 c whole grain bread crumbs
- 8-12 slices low sodium bacon 
- low calorie bbq sauce 
 
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425' 
2. Place all ingredients except onion and bacon in a bowl
3. Mix together with hands 
4. Make small slice down one layer of onion and carefully peel layers off for each serving 
5. Make a ball of meat (handful) and begin to stuff onion 


6. Carefully wrap stripes of bacon around onion carefully (if you need to use toothpicks you can) 

7. Place in a cast iron skillet if you have one, or tall baking sheet. Bake for 40 mins 

8. Pour bbq over the top and bake 5 more minutes
